Subway…eat fresh September 26, 2008

Mike and I got Subway for lunch. I got a foot long veggie delight on wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, pickles, olives, red onion, bell pepper, jalapenos, banana pepper and mustard. On the side I had a bag of sunchips. I ate the chips and half of the sandwich there and save the rest for later. I only took a pic of what I ate later.

This morning I had oatmeal again. Same as the other day. After I had breakfast Cristina and I went on a 30 minute walk. It’s still so hot out here…I can’t wait until it starts to cool down. After practice today I’m going to my future sister-in-laws to exercise with her and most likely get my hair done. I haven’t decided on what I want to do with it yet. I don’t think I’m ready to let all my blond go, so I’ll probably dye it brown with some blond highlights. Have a great Friday!!!

 

 

I think I’m going to Subway for lunch with Mike…hopefully I’ll be able to get a picture uploaded.

 

Another win

The girls did good at there game last night, we ended up beating them 2 out of 3. I got home around 7:30pm with dinner on the table and a clean family room…it was nice. Mike picked me up a garden salad and I added a morningstar chicken patty on the top. I had ranch dressing on the side and just fork dipped it. I also added some sprays of italian dressing. I ate all of it except the cheese and tomatoes.

I wanted to wait a little longer to eat my lunch but I couldn’t do it…I was too hungry. I started my lunch off with veggies (cucumber, carrots and zucchini) and red pepper hummus. The carrots weren’t good so I didn’t eat those. Next I had a great sandwich with turkey, laughing cow cheese, sprouts, cucumber, mustard, and 1/2 an avocado on low sodium Ezekiel bread. Later on I’ll probably have a plum.

I need to make a trip to the store soon because that was the last of our veggies and fruit. But I probably won’t have time until this weekend. 😦

Mike and I both have games tonight so he’s going to pick dinner up for us on his way home. I’ll post my dinner tomorrow morning, like I usually do.

I need caffeine

Last night I went to bed around 10pm and woke up at 6:30am…but I’m still so tired. It seem like no matter how much sleep I get, it’s never enough. Anyways, I have to leave work early to go home and get ready for my game tonight. It starts at 6pm but I need to be back at the school around 4:30pm to make sure everything is ready.

On to breakfast…I had quick oats with dried cherries, monster trail mix and a spoonful of pb loco.

 

Got a little exercise

Instead of going to spin class after practice I went to my future sister-in-laws house to exercise with her. We walked/jogged 2 miles and did push-ups, crunches, squats, and a bunch of other stuff that I don’t know what they are called. For dinner we decided on chicken salads with romaine lettuce, carrots, tomato, grilled chicken, peppercinis, some parm cheese, a little bbq sauce and some ranch dressing. It was really good. I remembered to take the picture after I already starting eating.

Back with a bang

I haven’t been able to blog cause I have been kinda busy and lazy. Over the weekend we had a volleyball game at the beach and we all stayed the night. It was so nice getting out of here and relaxing on the beach. One day I really hope I can move closer to the water.

Last night was our first league game for volleyball and we WON!!! We have another game tomorrow but it will be tough to pull out a win with this team.

Breakfast this morning was AWESOME! I got some new pb and some good trail mix from target yesterday. In the mix:

  • 1/2 oats with water and splash of rice milk
  • cinnamon
  • brown sugar
  • dried cherries
  • monster trail mix
  • p.b. loco

 

So sore September 18, 2008

I’m so sore this morning…yesterday during volleyball practice the other coach and I decide to play but we both didn’t have shoes. I thought I would be fine playing without shoes, but my feet and legs are hurting today. It was a really good workout though. After practice I went to my sister-in-laws house and while the boys (Mike and her husband) were at football practice we did a little workout. It felt good and it just made me realize how much I really need to get back to the gym regularly. I didn’t end up leaving there until 9:30pm last night. When Mike and I got home we both had a beer and then went to bed.

Mike has a football game tonight and it’s at a school that is about 3 hours away. Since we won’t be seeing each other tonight we decided to have lunch together today. We most likely will be going to the Hungarian place for a sandwich. Gosh it’s going to be the second time this week that I have went there. But time I’m not going to get chips…they just left me feeling overly full and bloated.

For breakfast this morning I had instant oatmeal and I might have a fruit’n yogurt parfait in a little while. I didn’t bring any snacks or fruit today.
