This morning I had oatmeal again. Same as the other day. After I had breakfast Cristina and I went on a 30 minute walk. It’s still so hot out here…I can’t wait until it starts to cool down. After practice today I’m going to my future sister-in-laws to exercise with her and most likely get my hair done. I haven’t decided on what I want to do with it yet. I don’t think I’m ready to let all my blond go, so I’ll probably dye it brown with some blond highlights. Have a great Friday!!!

 

 

I think I’m going to Subway for lunch with Mike…hopefully I’ll be able to get a picture uploaded.

I need caffeine September 25, 2008

Last night I went to bed around 10pm and woke up at 6:30am…but I’m still so tired. It seem like no matter how much sleep I get, it’s never enough. Anyways, I have to leave work early to go home and get ready for my game tonight. It starts at 6pm but I need to be back at the school around 4:30pm to make sure everything is ready.

On to breakfast…I had quick oats with dried cherries, monster trail mix and a spoonful of pb loco.

I haven’t been able to blog cause I have been kinda busy and lazy. Over the weekend we had a volleyball game at the beach and we all stayed the night. It was so nice getting out of here and relaxing on the beach. One day I really hope I can move closer to the water.

Last night was our first league game for volleyball and we WON!!! We have another game tomorrow but it will be tough to pull out a win with this team.

Breakfast this morning was AWESOME! I got some new pb and some good trail mix from target yesterday. In the mix:

• 1/2 oats with water and splash of rice milk
• cinnamon
• brown sugar
• dried cherries
• monster trail mix
• p.b. loco

Is it Friday yet? September 17, 2008

I woke up so late this morning…I actually woke up at 6:45am which is the time I’m suppose to leave the house. I hate the feeling of being rushed, but it happens every morning. I don’t know why but I have the hardest time waking up in the morning. My plans for today after work are volleyball practice, shopping, going to my sister-in-laws house, cleaning the house, making dinner and hopefully getting a run in later.

For breakfast I had Kashi waffles again with pb and jelly.

EDIT:Around 9am I need some caffeine…so I went to McDonalds and got a sugar free iced coffee.

Late! September 16, 2008

I got to work an hour late this morning…I just didn’t want to get out of bed. I have another game today so I have to leave work around 1pm. I’ll probably be home around 8:30pm, so hopefully Mike makes dinner tonight.

I changed it up a bit this morning for breakfast, I had two Kashi waffles with peanut butter and jelly. I’m out of bananas…I’m probably going to go shopping tomorrow after my spin class.

I’m glad it’s Monday September 15, 2008

I’m actually glad it is Monday. I don’t know why but I have the hardest time controlling myself over the weekend. I always eat and drink way too much. So today I need to get back on track.

Saturday night I had a little scare…I ended up in urgent care till 3am. Around midnight I was walking to the bathroom and half way there I felt the worst pain in my foot. It felt like a huge needle got stabbed in my foot. I looked down and saw a huge scorpion running across the room. I started scream to Mike to kill it!!!! He did and put it in a bottle and we rushed to the urgent care which is 45 minutes away from our house. When I got there the doctor said that it was definitely a poisonous one. They took my blood, put in an IV and gave me some medicine so I wouldn’t be nauseous. 2-3 hours later I was able to leave. He said I should be fine. Boy was that scary!

I just realized that I forgot my camera cord at home. I was in a hurry this morning and switched bags…I left it in the other bag. Sorry! I’ll have to upload my breakfast and lunch tomorrow. For breakfast I had instant oatmeal and a very ripe banana.

9-13-08 Breakfast and lunch September 13, 2008

Mike had to leave early this morning to take his CSET in Riverside at 7am. So I was up early with him. I did a 2.2 mile walk on the treadmill and then made breakfast. I had a spinach omelet with egg whites, cheese, salsa and avocado. On the side I had a whole wheat english muffin with lowfat cream cheese. Great breakfast…I love eggs!!!

I made a quick lunch before I went to my mom’s house. She needed help loading songs on her ipod. I made a chicken salad with mixed greens, olives, zucchini, cucumber, sprouts, cheese, and croutons with a light balsamic vinaigrette.

Tonight for dinner I’m planning on making tacos for Mike and a big taco salad for me….and a few light beers to drink. Hopefully I’ll be able to post the picture later.

EDIT: When Mike got home from taking his test we went to his sister’s house, but before we left I had a spinach pizza and 2 coors lights. When we got to his sister’s I made myself a turkey sandwich with mustard, cheese and lettuce with Doritos. I also had 2 bud light limes and a ice cream bar (270 calories). Not a very healthy night, but I’ll make up for it tomorrow.

We didn’t end up getting home last night from our volleyball game till around 11:30pm…and I didn’t get home till after midnight. I’m extremely tired today and just want to go back home and go to sleep. I’m kinda thinking about leaving work a little early but we will see. After work I just plan on going home, taking a nap, cleaning the house, maybe exercise a little and then relax. Mike has a football game tonight so I will be on my own for dinner.

For breakfast I had instant oatmeal with a big banana and some cranberry granola on top. I didn’t have time to make my lunch so I’m probably going to get something, I was thinking a sandwich.

Good mornin’ September 11, 2008

Today I’m leaving work at 1:00pm for a volleyball game in Tehachapi and probably won’t be home until 10pm. Since it’s such a far game we will be having a meal stop…meaning fast food.

For breakfast I had instant oatmeal with:

• tbs or 2 of flax
• 1 large banana
• tbs of almond butter
• lil bit of cranberry granola
